About Sscp archive
The SSCP Archive (Site Specific Creative Practice Archive) is an open resource supporting a wide range of research strains which endevour to develop understanding and employment of site specific creative practices. Representing a full range of disciplines, the SSCP Archive limits it’s curatorial contextualization to the most practical base level information; providing substance without the philosophy, allowing for more universal interpretations based upon new and current creative practice.
The archive is comprised of expressive phrases flavoured over individual works. It’s interface dynamic was designed following the idea that all the entries may combine into a complete, user orientated image of the human site specific response: a riff formed of a mood, in contemplation, whilst feeling; like an unknown song heard in passing, or captivating behaviour observed whilst lingering in a place.
Complete and specific information is available for many of the entries upon request by filling in the form accessible via the link within individual entries. Information concerning the entries will be supplied by a method and in a media best suited to the requesting body. However some information is available only to candidates fulfilling a criteria outlined by the practitioner(s) featured in the entry, or for a fee.
